What is Faceline’s ASO  (protruded mouth) Surgery? ASO stands for Anterior Segmental Osteotomy and it refers to the state in which a tooth or gum bone comes out and the mouth looking protruded.  -        If the upper lip protrudes more than 10~15 degrees from the vertical reference line of the profile, it can be considered as protruded mouth. -        Usually, when the mouth is protruded, the lips become thick, the smile line wrinkles deepens, and the tip of the chin become round and blunt. -        When smiling, the gums are visible, look older, with a strong looking impression.
