The face you see everyday isn’t your actual face

Mirror image: The image of an object reflected in a mirror, a left-right reversal of its actual form.    The face we usually see in our daily lives is not our actual face. This is because we usually look at our face reflected in a mirror. Mirrors don’t show your appearance as is but project the right side on the left and vide versa. This is called a mirror image. Then, there come moments you encounter your actual face. This is when you look at photos. Have you ever found your face unfamiliar when looking at photos of yourself? This is because you mainly see your face through a mirror, but the face you’ve become familiar with is a left-right reversed mirror image of your actual face. In theory, objects that are completely symmetrical to the left and right have the same mirror image as the true image. The more symmetrical the face, the more similar the actual face is to the face in the mirror. Conversely, the more asymmetrical the face, the greater the difference between the actual face
