Would it be good for my health to drink coffee right after meals? People in our country consume 500 cups of coffee a year. It's like drinking more than one glass a day on average! It must be a healthy drink because a study found that drinking coffee can help prevent sleepiness and that three cups of black coffee a day can lower the risk of stroke or cancer. Especially a cup of coffee after lunch is hard to quit. But even coffee that is good for health is not good for health if you drink it right after meals.
