Postoperative Requirements After Breast Surgery

However, if the breasts are not inherently large, they vary in size depending on the body shape.

Nowadays, many women are trying to manage their body shape with lifelong diet for their slim figure.  When you diet, usually you lose fat from the breast as well, so it’s difficult to make glamourous body.




Therefore, those who consider breast surgery are increasing than the past.

Breast augmentation is a fairly big surgery, and should be managed well after that. Today, I will introduce the postoperative requirements to follow after breast surgery.

From the next day after breast surgery, there is no disruption to everyday life such as meals or washing face, and meals can be served without restrictions.

It is recommended to wear wireless sports bra for at least 6 months. 





Lifting or pulling heavy objects of around 15 kg should be avoided for three weeks.  Also, do not scratch or rub the surgical area during the recovery period.



However, taking a walk can help you recover faster, so walking or moving lightly is helpful.



The shower is available after about 14 days to remove the stitches. Depending on the recovery process, the stitches may be removed before 14 days. Daily activities such as driving are also possible.



Drinking alcohol, smoking, sauna, and extreme exercise should be avoided for a month after surgery.



As for all surgeries, it is also important for each individual to well manage to achieve a more complete surgical result.
