After Nose Surgery 

It is recommended from the clinic not to drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes for some period after nose surgery.
 But, some patients consider that eye and nose surgery is rather a simple process and inquire to drink and smoke right after the surgery. 
However, it is important to follow what not to do and what to follow for the recovery purpose. 

It may cause symptoms as follow: 
  • Blood circulation disturbance
  • Reduce blood flow to increase possibility of getting infection  
  • Damage Mucous membrane to slow down recovery 
  • Swelling 





Drinking alcohol also causes body swelling and slowing down the recovery process. If you're slow on alcohol detoxification, then it is must to be cautious and abstain from drinking for about 4 weeks after surgery. 




It helps to not extremely work out or activities for a month to recover. Moreover, not touching your nose is important as many patients do it unconsciously.
