Cheap and can be easily found vegetable, cabbage!
There are many variations of eating cabbages -as a salad, steamed and also in juice. 
Even though cabbage aren't sweet as fruits or refreshing as other vegetables as cucumber but, cabbages are one of beloved by many people.

Let's find out what are some benefits of cabbages.




1. Improvement on gastrointestinal disturbance
One of known effects of cabbages is that there are medicines made with the cabbage ingredients, and they're beneficial for gastrointestinal system.
Vitamin K and U is contained in cabbage, and they regenerate gastric mucous to protect the stomach from inflammation. Moreover, Sulforaphane component helps to stop generating the Helicobacter pylori. 




2. Antacid & anti-cancer effect
There are 'Indole-3-carbinol' and 'Glucosinolate' components in cabbage and they act out as antacid and anti-cancer effect. 
Especially, 'Indole-3-carbinol' suppresses cancer cells to increase. 


3. Skin health improvement
'Carotenoid' ingredient controls aging of skin cells. Cabbage are full of moisture which is helpful to those who have dry skin. It also helps acne-prone skin to stop from breaking out. 




4. Full of Vitamin C
Cabbage contain full of Vitamin C. And there's 36.6 mg contained in 100g of cabbage. 
Vitamin C works on immune system, asthma, and iron absorption which works beneficial to our body. Also, cabbage contains fiber to eliminate acids that contain cholesterol. 

However, nutrients contained in cabbage are easy to be destroyed when heated, so it's better to take raw. If you have weak stomach, it's best to eat steamed cabbage!
