Foods that are beneficial when you work out


New year has arrived! 

Out of most people's new year resolutions, working out seems to be always in the head topic. That's why we see many people going to the gym for January. 

However, it's also important to consider about healthy diet when you workout, because consuming right foods can maximize your workout plan. 


So, let's find out about what's beneficial to eat during before/after working out. 

1. Bananas
Bananas are full of vitamin and carbohydrates (carbs). It brings energy during working out.




2. Plain yogurt 
Yogurt contains full of lactic acid which is great for your intestinal health. Eating plain yogurt before/after workout, it protects muscles and makes your bones stronger. And not to mention, it protects your immune system. 




3. Black coffee (Americano) 
It's known that drinking black coffee 3-4 cups a day is good for health.
There are ingredients in coffee that will enhance your concentration on work. (No adding milk and sugar, though!) 




4. Tomatoes 
Tomatoes contain full of moisture and supplements lacking moisture during working out. Also, it's only about 14kcal (in 100g) so people enjoy eating them while they're on a diet. 




5. Cucumbers 
Cucumbers are also rich in moisture and a low-calorie food. They're also good for muscles and if you add apple to cucumbers, it's a good way to quench your thirst and hunger. 
(More beneficial if you take before working out) 



Working out is important, but it's more important to know what to eat for your body.
