Precautions before General Anesthesia surgery



Today, we will talk about precautions before general anesthesia surgery.
There are some cases of general anesthesia, depending on the type and the need of plastic surgery. The advantage of general anesthesia is that not only it can control patient’s movement even though it can take a little longer, but also, you can have a surgery comfortably without anesthesia wearing off.






So, what kind of plastic surgeries are performed with general anesthesia?

Usually, surgical parts that requires delicacy are operated with general anesthesia.


The big categories of the surgery is below: 
Nose : deviated nose correction, hump nose correction, some nose revision
Breast:
breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast reconstruction
 excluding gynecomastia and inverted nipple
Liposuction:
breast, thighs, abdomen, etc except arms
Face:
All facial contour and two jaws surgeries except for intangible implant
Wrinkles:
wrinkle removal treatment of all kinds except thread-lifting, Botox, etc.




There are some precautions you should be aware prior to surgery
when performing general anesthesia.

If you know these precautions, 
you can operate in stable condition, prevent possible accidents in the future and get better results.


 First, starting from 12 a.m. on the day before surgery, you should not eat any food including cigarettes, gum, or candy including water.




Second, qu
it smoking and drinking from at least a week in order to recover quickly. After surgery, smoking and quitting for at least a month helps prevent inflammation and recover smoothly.


Third, you should be careful with your cold and inform the person in charge of any illnesses. Especially, Aspirin, vitamin E, multivitamin, herbal medicine, and hormone medications are prohibited. For blood pressure medication, take it with a sip of water until the day of surgery.

Fourth,
 on the day of surgery, arrive at the designated time and remove precious metals, contact lenses from the body.


Fifth, make sure to wear your clothes as comfortable as possibleIt would be more convenient to prepare zippered clothes or hoodies. Also, you have to come to the clinic with no makeup and no manicures.

And lastly, 
self-driving is not allowed after surgery.
 Please accompany your guardian if necessary.
