The Healthy Benefits of Eating Chocolate

We all love sweet yet soft chocolate. I mean, who would not love eating chocolate? As much as we love eating chocolate, are you also aware of healthy benefits of chocolate?

Today's post is about the benefits of chocolate.

First, chocolate as a stress reliever.
It's common that we crave sweet things like chocolate when we get tired or stressed out. According to the research, chocolate contains full of serotonin which acts out as anti-stress substance. Serotonin is also used as stress, depression and insomnia remedy. 


Second, chocolate protects from vascular disease. 
Flavonoid, and polyfenol component in chocolate are anti-oxidant which protects from aging and lowering the blood pressure and eventually prevents from vascular disease. 


Third, chocolate improves memory. 
Theobromine component in chocolate stimulates a brain to improve on our memory and concentration. It's also said to help degenerative brain diseases by increasing blood flow in the brain. 


It's also important to know any precautions on chocolate. Scientists recommend to consume 1-2 pieces of dark chocolate (containing cacao more than 50%) which milk or sugar isn't much included rather than consuming milk chocolate.
Chocolate with a lot of sugar is more likely containing high numbers of trans fat, and may increase body fat so it's important to watch out the intake amount.
